Restaurant number

This is a store identifier. It is commonly printed near the restaurant name or address and may be shorter than other transaction strings. Keep leading zeros when the form expects them.

Survey or invitation code

Some receipts print a longer series of digits or grouped characters specifically for the survey. It starts the invitation but is not the same as the validation code shown after completion.

Numbers that are commonly entered by mistake

Order number, till number, card reference, authorization number, subtotal, barcode digits and the blank validation area are different fields. Read the exact label requested by the live form.

Not necessarily. The restaurant number identifies the location, while some invitations also contain a separate longer survey code.

Where is the restaurant number printed?

It is usually near the top of the receipt close to the restaurant name or address.

Why is the code rejected?

The wrong field, a missing leading zero, an expired invitation, a character-reading mistake or an ineligible receipt can cause rejection.

Can a code generator create a valid survey code?

No. A legitimate invitation code comes from an eligible receipt, not from a third-party generator.
